The Trojans

Bruning carries an 8-1 record against conference opponents, as she boasts a 9-2 record while at the No. 2 spot. Senior Lindsay Gregory and junior Alexandra Ebner escaped the 10-win plateau over the weekend, as Gregory post an 11-4 mark, while Ebner is 10-5, as Gregory holds the team's longest winning streak of six straight.

In doubles, Bruning and freshman Ivey Welborn have won their last two matches and hold a team-high nine victories on the year with all of the wins coming at the No. 1 position. The pair of Gregory and Mairead Cleary follows with six wins, splitting time at No. 1 and No. 2.

In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Rankings, released on March 25, Wingate earned the No. 49 spot, dropping two positions from the earlier poll. The Bulldogs remain as the final unbeaten team in the SAC this season, entering Wednesday's contest with a perfect 8-0 mark against the league while holding a 10-4 overall record. WU also carries an eight-match winning streak after sweeping through the month of March with eight straight victories.

Three Bulldogs come into the mid-week contest with 10 wins on the year, as Oroma Womeodu, Layla Tanik and Maria Garcia share the team lead in wins. This season, Wingate is 37-10 in singles against conference opponents, as Tanik and Becca Thomas have unbeaten records of 8-0 and 7-0, respectively. Thomas has recorded triumphs in her last nine singles matches.
