Salisbury, N.C. – Anderson women's tennis (11-7, 6-6 SAC) drop its final regular season South Atlantic Conference match to Catawba (12-6, 7-4 SAC), 6-1, on Friday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center.
Catawba earned the first point of the match winning the doubles portion, but the Indians were not able to sweep. No. 1 Mariam Bayatyan and Katie Robeson won their match, 6-2.
AU's lone point came from the No. 5 slot with Valentina Borda winning her pro-set, 8-5.
Anderson travels to USC Sumter on Wednesday. The nonconference match will begin at 12 pm.
