ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson women's tennis (5-1, 1-0 SAC) earn its opening conference win over South Atlantic Conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne (4-1, 1-1 SAC), 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

The Trojans battled to earn the opening doubles point, winning the No. 2 and No. 3 flights, 6-2 and 6-4, respectively.

In the singles portion, Anderson's Mariam Bayatyan, Gigi Sompayrac, Valentina Borda and Elena Ronconi earn victories to set the final score at

Anderson remains at home to host SAC foe Lincoln Memorial on March 3rd. First serve is scheduled for 1pm.
