GREENEVILLE, TENN. – No. 42 Anderson women's tennis (8-2, 4-1 SAC) suffered its first South Atlantic Conference setback with a hard-fought match against SAC foe No.41 Tusculum (8-4, 2-1 SAC), 4-3 on Sunday afternoon at Roger Nichols Tennis Complex.
Anderson fell behind, 1-0, after the doubles portion with Tusculum extending its lead to, 3-0, before the Trojans got on the board, 3-1.
The Pioneers were able to clinch the match to snap AU's four-match win streak.
Anderson travels to Carson-Newman on Wednesday. First-serve is slated for 2 pm.
