ATLANTA – Anderson University men and women's track and field programs competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational over the weekend, posting ten personal-bests and two school records.
"This week was a lot of fun," said head coach Kevin Eagle. "We had a ton of personal bests along with three new school records. The athletes performed extremely well as this was our last tune up before the SAC Championships on May 1st."
Junior Ben Molitor (Pelzer, S.C.) ran a personal best 48.85 400-meter race breaking a school record from 2016, while freshman Darrion Perry (Beaufort, S.C.) cracked his own standing record that he first broke last week, running a 54.84-second 400-meter hurdles race.
Sophomore Elliot Dotson (Greenville, S.C.) competed at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, posting a time of 3:47.51 to break the program-record in the men's 1500-meter race.
