JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – Anderson men's tennis (5-6, 1-5 SAC) dropped Wednesday afternoon's road contest at 45th-ranked Carson-Newman (5-4, 3-1 SAC) by a final of 7-0.
The Eagles were victorious in doubles play, with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. AU's No. 2 pairing of Patrick Cronin and Vicent Mico won their match at No. 2 after the doubles point had been clinched.
In singles, Carson-Newman completed the sweep with straight-set wins at the No. 1, 3, and 5 spots, and pro-set victories at the No. 2, 4, and 6 positions.
