Record Night as Trojans Trounce Tusculum, 29-11

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson's men's lacrosse posted a season high and program second-highest 29 goals in its victory over Tusculum on Tuesday.

"It's a great team win tonight," said head coach Albert Mitchell. "Excited to be able to bounce back right away with a conference win."

Fifteen Trojans contributed goals in the contest, with Radyn Badraun (Mission Viejo, Calif.) and Ryan Bitterman (Alpharetta, Ga.) leading the way with five goals each. Logan Gaddis (Norcross, Ga.) found the back of the net four times, while Matthew Rodgers (Carmel, Ind.), Steven Huls Jr. (Jacksonville, N.C.), and Eli Marshall (Kennesaw, Ga.) each tallied braces.

The Trojans totaled a program-record 86 shots on the evening, 58 of which were on-frame. The Black and Gold notched 66 ground balls, completed 24-24 successful clears and won 31 of 44 faceoff contests.

AU looks to build off the momentum from Tuesday's victory as they enter a three-game road stint, beginning Saturday (March 23) at Coker. Opening faceoff is set for 1:00 PM.
