Men’s Relay Team Breaks Program Record, Boozer Takes First in Women’s 400

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Anderson's men's 4x400 relay team (Molitor, Perry, Ussery, Macurda) paved the way for the Trojans this weekend at the Lee Flames Invitational in Cleveland, Tenn. Racing for a 3rd-place finish at 3:20.26. The time breaks the AU program record by more than two full seconds.

"Some of the best teams in Division II competed at Lee and our athletes were right there with them. We look to build on this meet as we gear towards hosting this upcoming weekend in Anderson."

Aidan Mckinnie (Scottdale, Ga.) finished 7th in the men's 100-meter race with a time of 10.77, while Ben Molitor (Pelzer, S.C.) ran for a 9th-place 49.77 mark in the men's 400-meter. Darion Perry (Beaufort, S.C.) took a 6th-place finish in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57:05.
