Women’s Tennis Welcomes Limestone

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson women's tennis will finish up its 2015-16 season when it returns home to host nonconference opponent Limestone on Wednesday. First serve it set for 2 p.m. at the AU Tennis Complex.

ANDERSON OVERVIEW
• Anderson is currently 10-11 overall.
• The Black and Gold have lost their last five matches with three being 5-4 setbacks.
• No. 45 Rebecca Bruning has posted a 15-5 overall record in singles play and a 15-5 in doubles action with partner Ivey Welborn. The pair holds an all-time record of 28-10.
• Junior Alexandra Ebner has earned 11 wins in the singles portion and 12 in doubles play.
• Freshman Jennifer Holcombe earned her 10th win in singles play holding a 10-9 overall record.

LIMESTONE OVERVIEW
• The Saints are riding a five match winning streak with a 9-1 Conference Carolinas overall record.
• In singles action, Marian Pinate has earned an 11-4 overall record while Alexandra Boulbin and Hannah Hopkins has won 10 matches apiece for the Saints.
• In doubles play, partners Hopkins and Pinate are 9-1 for Limestone while Manon Janin and Kayla Meermans sit at 8-1 on the year.

THE SERIES
Anderson and Limestone have not faced off since Feb. 20, 2013 with the Trojans claiming a 7-2 victory.
