Anderson, S.C. - Anderson University Athletics salutes the 2020 women's basketball seniors. Without their efforts the program would not have continued to reach the success that they have had.  

Team Manager McKenzie Clarey …

McKenzie has helped the team the past 3 ½ years and has played a huge part in the team's success. More like an assistant coach McKenzie handled a lot of the day to day activities both at home games and away games. The past three seasons McKenzie has also orchestrated the creation of the Play4Kay videos and assisted with our social media posts.

McKenzie will finish up her student teaching next fall and will be moving back to Charleston, SC where she will become a high school teacher.

 #34 Amari Grevious

Amari has been a three-year player for Anderson University. She transferred to Anderson after her freshman year at Winthrop University. She has played in 75 games as a Trojan. She has helped AU win two SAC regular season title and a SAC tournament title, while earning three NCAA tournament appearances. In Amari's career the Trojans have a combined record of 75 wins-19 losses.

As a senior, Amari was elected to be a Captain for this year's team. She has scored a career high of 10 points on several occasions and also had a career high of 14 rebounds against Tusculum. Amari has done a great job defending in the paint with two or more blocked shots in multiple games.  

While doubling as a nurse by day an athlete at night, Amari will graduate in May with a degree in nursing and has plans to move to Columbia, SC to become a L&D nurse.

#24 Makayla Green

Makayla has been a four-year player for Anderson University. As a Trojan she has played in 98 games. She has helped AU win two SAC regular season title and a SAC tournament title, while earning four NCAA tournament appearances. In Makayla's career the Trojans have a combined record of 97 wins-26 losses.

After overcoming an early knee injury this fall the senior captain has come up big for the Trojans on several nights including tying a career high 12 points vs UV-Wise and a career high four assists in a double overtime thriller win vs Carson-Newman. Makayla's versatility to defend multiple positions for the Trojans has helped Anderson lead the Conference in defensive field goal percentage all four seasons.

Makayla will graduate this summer with a degree in Kinesiology and plans to move back to Greenville and become a Personal Trainer.

#23 Madison Baggett

Madison is a four-year starter for Anderson University and has her name near or at the top of the record books in several categories. Even though she doesn't like to talk about it, she is #13th on the all-time scoring list, with 1,121 points. She is also #7 in career rebounds with 713, #6 in career 3-pointers made with 202, #9 in career blocks with 64, #4 in games started with 117, and finally Madison became AU's #1 All-time career assist leader and first AU player to reach 500 career assists with 506. 

Madison has helped AU win two SAC regular season title and a SAC tournament title, while earning four NCAA tournament appearances. In Madison's career the Trojans have a combined record of 97 wins-26 losses.

Over the course of four seasons Madison has been named to the Sac All-Freshman team, SAC Second Team, NCAA Southeast's Region Tournament Team, and this year's Pre-season All-Conference team and SAC First Team.

This season the senior captain from Alabama has started every game while averaging 10.5 pts, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. Madison scored double figures in 19 games this season, as well as dropping in her second career triple double vs Lenoir-Rhyne.

Madison will graduate this spring with her degree in Education where she plans to move back to Alabama and teach elementary school.

#12 Alexy Mollenhauer

Lexy is a four-year starter for Anderson University and also has her name near or at the top of the record books in multiple categories. She is #3 on the all-time scoring list with 1,949 points. Lexy moved into the #1 spot for career rebounds with 1,017 rebounds, becoming the first player in AU history to reach both the 1000-point and 1000-rebound plateau. She ranks #2 in 3-pointers made with 246, #2 in career blocks with 157, and #6 in games started with 110. 

Lexy has helped AU win two SAC regular season title and a SAC tournament title, while earning four NCAA tournament appearances. In Lexy's career the Trojans have a combined record of 97 wins-26 losses.

Over the course of four years Lexy has been awarded 12 Players of The Week, one National Player of the Week, SAC Freshman of the year, SAC Honorable Mention, SAC First team (2), SAC Player of the Year(2), SAC Tournament MVP, SAC All-Tournament (2), WBCA All-American (2), D2CCA Region Player of the Year, D2CCA First team All-American (2) and SAC Female Athlete of the Year. Academically, Alexy maintained a perfect 4.0 in her college career and has won several academic awards including Academic All-District Team (2), Academic All-American (2), SAC Scholar Athlete of the Year and SAC Elite 20 Award.

This season the senior captain from Texas has started every game this season, while averaging 19.7 pts and 12.4 rebounds per game. Lexy recorded 20 double-doubles and holds the record for the most double-doubles in a career. She broke her career-high earlier this season with 31 points against Carson-Newman.  

Lexy will graduate this spring with her degree in Education. Before going into high school teaching she will first play professional basketball overseas. Lexy who is a gold medalists in the 3-on-3 Islamic Solidartiy Games is also hoping to compete in the future Olympic Games for her Azerbaijan 3-on-3 team.
