ROCK HILL, S.C.– Anderson University women's basketball senior Alexy Mollenhauer was named The South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the tenth week of the 2019-20 season.
Mollenhauer led the Trojans to a 2-0 record on the week averaging 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds. In Wednesday's win over Coker, she poured in 25 points while draining 5-of-7 three-point shots. The native of Lindale Texas, recorded her eighth double-double (18 pts, 11 rbs) of the season in Saturday's win over Lincoln Memorial.
Anderson will travel to SAC opponent Catawba on Wednesday. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.
