Mars Hill had two player notch double-digit scoring. De'Ja Marshall scored a team-high 17 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Tatum Boggs netted 15 points and pulled down six rebounds for the Lions.

Anderson led 44-35 at halftime while outscoring the Lions 37-23 in the second half of action to set the final score, 81-58. Mars Hill never led the contest, tying the Trojans once in the first period at 2-2.

"Today was a special day for a special group of Seniors, said head coach Jonathon Barbaree. "Just really excited we could finish the day with a win for them!"

"I thought we adjusted well to their changing defenses early on, but they're much tougher team than people give them credit", explained Barbaree. "The new staff at Mars Hill has done an excellent job this season and are only going to continue to get better each year."

"Again we want to thank our seniors, but we're not done yet", added Barbaree. "We look forward to seeing everyone back at the Abney on Wednesday!"

Anderson remains home to finish its regular season home schedule when it welcomes SAC foe Catawba. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 pm.
