Aubrey Stoddard Sets Personal Best in Mile Run at USC Indoor Open

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Anderson University women's track and field team completed the USC Indoor Open on Friday (Feb. 18).

Aubrey Stoddard led the way for the Trojans by finishing fourth in the mile run at a pace of 5:07.54, setting a new personal best. Lauren Pernell and Katie Landry each recorded top-10 finishes in the long jump, with distances of 1.45m and 1.35m, respectively. Regan Appleby had 12.14m in the shot put to finish ninth place. Lacey Boozer (26.63) and Joeli Hayden (27.39) each ran the 200 dash for the Trojans.

The Trojans will be back in action next Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 26 – Feb. 27) as they travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the SAC Indoor Championships. Results can be found at www.autrojans.com.
