In the shot put, Regan Appleby finished with a distance of 12.34m to take sixth place, while Katie Landry took tenth place at 11.18m.

"It was great to see the team back in competition again," said coach Kevin Eagle. "We had several personal bests and one school record on the women's side. Whitney's time in the 800m currently ranks her first in the SAC and seventh in the NCAA. Based on these results, I am excited to see where we can be in two weeks when we compete again!"

The Trojans will be back in action on Friday (Jan. 28) as they travel back to Columbia, S.C. for the South Carolina Invitational. Live results can be found at www.autrojans.com.
