ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Anderson University men's and women's track and field team completed the Grand Valley State University Big Meet on Saturday (Feb. 12) with some new personal best times, after two records were broken yesterday.

For the men, Philip Quillen finished 11th with an 8:32 mark in the 3000m, while Thomas Sutcliffe was close behind at 8:38 to finish 17th. In the 800m run, freshman Spain Vaughan recorded a top-10 finish in a time of 1:56.19.

For the women, the Distance Medley Relay team of Whitney Hanson, Kamryn Osterbind, Olivia Rish, and Brianna Quartararo finished 13th in a time of 11:57.56.

The Trojans will be back in action next weekend in Winston-Salem, N.C. at the JDL DMR Invite on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 18 – Feb. 19). Results can be found at www.autrojans.com.
