WINGATE, N.C. -- Wingate swept Anderson College in a non-conference doubleheader Sunday afternoon at the Wingate Softball Stadium. In the first game, Amy Parmalee drove in four runs and had three hits, including a home run, to lead Wingate to a 9-6 victory. Anderson was led by Melissa Waters and Rachelle Lawrence, who drove in two runs apiece. In the second game, Wingate scored seven runs in the first two innings and coasted to a 10-4 victory. Seven Wingate players drove in one run apiece. Lawrence had two of Anderson's six hits. Wingate is now 10-6, while Anderson falls to 6-16. Season Statistics
