Coleman and Keever Earn Men’s Golf All-Conference Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. – With the 2021 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship slated to begin on Monday, the Anderson University men's golf duo of freshman Calahan Keever and Reece Coleman has earned Second-Team All-South Atlantic Conference honors, as announced by the league office, Friday morning.

Keever, who is ranked 51st nationally by Golfstat, was named the league's Freshman of the Year and captured Second-Team All-Conference honors after pacing the Trojans with a 72.00 unadjusted stroke average (72.46 adjusted) and posted a season-low 68 in the second round of the season-opening Matt Dyas Invitational in mid-October.

The Greenville native posted three top-15 finishes during the regular season and never finished lower than 21st in any of AU's six tournaments this year.

Coleman, a sophomore, garnered all-conference recognition for the second straight season after being recognized as First-Team All-SAC following the 2019-20 campaign. The Port Elizabeth, South Africa, native is currently ranked 76th in the nation by Golfstat. He posted a 72.18 unadjusted stroke average (762.63 adjusted) through six tournaments and has three top-10 finishes to his credit this year, while finishing lower than 32nd just once.

Coleman equaled a school record with his first-round 64 at the Spring Kick-off Intercollegiate in mid-February.

Lincoln Memorial's Dan Bradbury was voted the 2021 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golfer of the Year, while Keever was named the Conference's Freshman of the Year and Lincoln Memorial's Travis Muncy was named the Coach of the Year.

Bradbury, a senior from Yorkshire, England, earned his second consecutive SAC Men's Golfer of the Year award after posting a 70.21 adjust scoring average with two tournament victories for the 2020-21 season. Ranked No. 1 in the national in the NCAA Division II Golfstat individual rankings, Bradbury has finished in the top five in four events this season, and in the top-15 in all seven events.

Muncy earned his third consecutive SAC Coach of the Year honor in 2021 after leading the Railsplitters to a No. 5 national ranking in the Bushnell Golfweek Division II poll. Muncy's men's team captured six top-10 finishes in 2020-21, including a tournament title and three runner-up finishes.

Bradbury also earned first team All-SAC honors for his performance this season and he is joined on the first team by Wingate's Charles Joubert, Lincoln Memorial's Harry Lord, Lenoir-Rhyne's Liam Waldron, and Catawba's Tanner Bibey.

The 2021 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship will run April 19-20, at the Woodlake Country Club in Tazewell, Tenn. Live results for all three rounds can be found online.
