ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's and women's track and field teams completed competition at the Winthrop University Invitational and the Raliegh Relays on Saturday (Mar. 25).

At the Raliegh Relays, Elliot Dotson (30:40.72) and Spain Vaughan (30:45.08) impressed in the 10,000m. For the women, Olivia Rish (2:17.35) and Whitney Hanson (2:17.85) ran step-for-step in the 800m.

"These four athletes gained a lot of experience while running in one of the fastest meets of year," said coach Kevin Eagle. "Spain and Elliot raced their first ever track 10k and left knowing they have more to give next time out. Whitney and Olivia ran the 800m distance for the first time this outdoor season. Their performances are a great starting point to where we want to go at the end of the season."

At the Adidas Winthrop University Invitational, Brianna Quartararo led the Trojans by finishing second in the 800m with a time of 2:18.78. Lacey Boozer finished fourth in the 200m in 25.40 seconds. Ben Molitor took 12th in the 200m in a time of 22.45.
