ANDERSON, SC--When Blair Carson began working out in front of professional scouts leading up to the 2009 MLB draft, Anderson University's all-time homerun leader, who had flown under the radar on the mound for 3 out his 4 years as a Trojan, only pitched once; apparently the Cincinnati Reds' regional scout liked what he saw and Carson was drafted in the 42nd round by the organization and headed off to Sarasota, FL on Tuesday to begin Reds Rookie Camp.
