Braiden Furtick Named Recipient of Bob Dibble “Spirit of the Game” Award

MONROE, N.C. - At the conclusion of the South Atlantic Conference Women's Golf Championship's first-round, Anderson senior Braiden Furtick was honored by the league's coaches as the recipient of the 2016 Bob Dibble "Spirit of the Game" Award.

The award is named in honor of the long-time Tusculum coach and is selected by the league's women's golf coaches. The award recognizes the SAC women's golf team member that demonstrates a genuine love of the game, outstanding character, leadership and places team before self.

Furtick, a native of Lexington, S.C. and a nursing major with a 3.82 GPA, is the fifth honoree to win the award.
