Men's Lacrosse Game At Mars Hill Moved to Friday

ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's lacrosse team will look to continue their winning ways on Friday (Mar. 11) as they will be traveling to take on the Mars Hill Lions for their second SAC matchup of the season.

Anderson is coming off an impressive 24-6 win over Lincoln Memorial, which marked their fifth consecutive victory. 10 different Trojans scored a goal, with Triston Schaffer leading the way with six. All-American faceoff specialist Cam Weeks won all 21 of his faceoff attempts while picking up 19 ground balls.

Mars Hill enters the match with a record of 4-2 after losing their SAC opener to Tusculum last weekend. In 2021's matchup, the Trojans defeated the Lions by a score of 28 to 11 at Spero Financial Field.

Cam Weeks of the Anderson University men's lacrosse team has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) D2 Team of the Week for the third consecutive week. For the second straight week, the Trojans received votes in the USILA National Poll.

Weeks, a sophomore from Mount Pleasant, S.C., won all 21 of his faceoff attempts and picked up 19 ground balls in the victory over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday (Mar. 5) at Spero Financial Field.
