ANDERSON, S.C. – Cam Weeks of the Anderson University men's lacrosse team has been named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Men's Preseason All-American Second Team, announced on Monday (Dec. 13).
Weeks, a sophomore from Mt. Pleasant, S.C., had an outstanding freshman season for the black and gold in the faceoff circle. He led the South Atlantic Conference with 157 ground balls per game, and all of NCAA D2 with 14.27 GB's per game. Weeks was fourth in the nation with a faceoff percentage of .727. Some of his accolades included: Anderson University Male Athlete of the Year, SAC Freshman of the Year, All-SAC First Team, USILA All-Region, All-American, and D2 Team of the Week.
The Trojans start their season at home versus Florida Southern at Spero Financial Field, with a start time slated for 7:00 p.m.
