CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Anderson University men's and women's track and field teams completed their final meet of 2023 season at the Lee University Last Chance Meet in Cleveland, Tennessee (May 13) before the NCAA Outdoor National Championships (May 25-27) in Pueblo, Colorado.
Olivia Rish, Lacey Boozer, and Daniel Similton competed for the Trojans. Lacey Boozer ran the 200m in 25.47 seconds to finish 10th, while taking seventh place in the 400m in 56.69 seconds. Olivia Rish, in her final meet with Anderson, ran the 800m at a pace of 2:14.95 to finish 11th. For the men, Daniel Similton finished just outside the top-10 for 12th place in the 3,000m steeple with a time of 9:41.01 in the final meet of his senior year.
The NCAA National Outdoor Championships are scheduled for May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colorado. Elliot Dotson has provisionally qualified for nationals in the 5,000m with a 13:57.18 time at the Virginia Challenge. More information can be found at autrojans.com when it becomes available.
