DUE WEST, S.C. -- Brooke Jackson scored the only goal of the match in the 27th minute to give Anderson University a 1-0 victory over Erskine in a Conference Carolinas match Tuesday night. The Lady Trojans, 7-7-2 overall and 4-5-1 overall, locked up a trip to next week's Conference Carolinas Tournament and also earned three Beville Cup points. The loss drops the Fleet to 3-10-1, 2-7-1. Virginia Cates crossed the ball to Jackson, a freshman from Union, S.C., to set up the goal. Anderson goalkeeper Kelli Whitfield made three saves to earn the shutout.
