Anderson, Brevard Battle To Scoreless Tie

BREVARD, N.C. -- Anderson University and Brevard battled to a scoreless tie in a women's non-conference match Tuesday afternoon. "Lisa Taylor led a really strong defensive effort in the back," said Anderson head coach Jason Dowiak. "She kept us very organized. We pressured them hard in the second half and had several opportunities. We just couldn't finish one off." Anderson took 11 shots, seven on goal, while Brevard managed six shots, two on goal. Calle McAllister made two saves for Anderson. Brooke Jackson was Anderson's shots leader with three shots on goal. Crystal Gaffney and Virginia Cates both had one shot on goal.
