Women’s Basketball Ranked In Latest NCAA DII Regional Rankings

ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson women's basketball ranked No. 2 in the latest NCAA Regional Rankings, released late Wednesday afternoon.

Four other South Atlantic Conference members earned a slot in the rankings. Catawba claimed the No. 1 seed in the region with a 20-4 overall record, followed by Anderson at No. 2 with a 19-7 overall record. Carson-Newman landed at No. 4 with a 19-8 overall record while Wingate took the No. 5 rank with an overall record of 18-8, and Lenoir-Rhyne earned the No. 6 spot with an overall record of 20-7.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
