Men’s Golf Remains Top-Ranked Team in the Nation

NORMAN, Okla. – After taking over the No. 1 spot in the NCAA D II collegiate rankings last November, the Anderson University Men's golf team has refused to relinquish the top spot, as the Trojans remain the nation's No. 1 team in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, as released late Thursday night.

The Trojans, who received 10 first-place votes and 321 points, outdistanced No. 2 Barry, which received three first-place votes and garnered 313 points in the poll.

West Florida, Oklahoma Christian, and Grand Valley State rounded out the top five, while Lee, Nova Southeastern, North Georgia, Georgia Southwestern, and Colorado State-Pueblo completed the top 10.

Sixteen additional teams received votes in the poll.

In addition to Carson-Newman at No. 19 – up from 20th – Lincoln Memorial (25th), joined the Trojans from the South Atlantic Conference with Limestone receiving votes in the latest poll.

AU is scheduled to get back in action at next week's Bearcat Classic, which will be hosted by Lander at the Greenwood Country Club.
