Men’s Golf Looks to Stretch Dominant Win streak to Six Straight at Hurricane Invitational

ANDERSON, S.C. – Two weeks after winning its fifth consecutive tournament title in the Sunshine State, the No. 1-ranked Anderson University men's golf team will put its impressive win streak on the line at Georgia Southwestern's 8th Annual Hurricane Invitational, will be hosted at the Doublegate Country Club in Albany, Ga.

The 54-hole, two-day event will feature a par-72, 7,024-yard layout, with Monday featuring 36 holes, while the final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.

The 17-team field is expected to include seven of the top-20 teams in the nation, including four of the top-10 squads. Among the schools that will join the top-ranked Trojans and No. 10 Hurricanes are sixth-ranked North Georgia, No. 8 Nova Southeastern, No. 14 Tampa, 12th-ranked Clayton State, No. 17 Carson-Newman, No. 34 Coker, 42nd-ranked Columbus State, Valdosta State, No. 47 Erskine, Florida Southern, No. 51 Flagler, North Greenville, Lenoir-Rhyne, King and West Georgia.

Live video coverage of two holes will be offered in Round 2 and Round 3 through the Peach Belt Conference Sports Network.
