Women’s Soccer Earns A Spot On The United Soccer Coaches Academic Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anderson University Women's Soccer team was one of four South Atlantic Conference institutions to earn United Soccer Coaches Academic Team Award. Soccer Coaches which recognizes teams for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.

Catawba posted the top GPA from the SAC women with 3.72. Lenoir-Rhyne followed with a 3.50, while Anderson recorded a 3.48. Emory & Henry concluded the SAC women with a 3.37.

A total of 494 women's soccer teams posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, 179 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized. Anderson was also one of those schools after the men's team posted a 3.14 GPA.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
