Round One of Flagler Fall Slam Suspended Due to Rain

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – With about a third of the women's golf teams finishing their round, the opening round of the 17th Annual Flagler Fall Slam was suspended due to inclement weather.

The Saints are hosting the 36-hole, two-day tournament at the 6,062 yard, par-72 Marsh Creek Country Club.

The players who were still on the course when the rains came will start at 8 a.m., Tuesday, with the final round to follow immediately.

Last year's champion, Nova Southeastern, is not defending its title, but the Trojans are battling sixteen other teams for the crown, including five-time champion Barry, Flagler, Carson-Newman, Catawba, Columbus State, Converse, Eckerd, Eastern Florida State, Embry Riddle, Lenoir-Rhyne, Limestone, Missouri St. Louis, Mount Olive, Queens, Seminole State and Wingate.
