WINGATE, N.C. -- Two members of the Anderson University women's volleyball team were named to the 2023 D2 CCA All-Southeast Region team as announced by the organization on Wednesday, November 29.
Senior Jenna Long (Clearwater, Fla.) was named to the First-Team at the setter position while fellow senior Jaelyn Grimm (Cedar Park, Texas) earned Second-Team honors at middle.
Long is averaging a region-best 11.27 assists per set, ranking eighth in the nation while adding 3.28 digs per set to go along with 71 kills and 24 aces to help the Trojans lead the SAC in kills per set and rank second in hitting percentage.
Grimm posted the second highest hitting percentage as an individual in the SAC this season with a .416 as she tallied 217 kills. Her hitting percentage is also the eighth-best in the nation.
The Trojans continue their season this weekend as they open up the NCAA Southeast Region tournament on Friday, December 1 as they take on USC Aiken at 5:00 p.m. on the campus of Wingate University.
