Todd Hay Named Coach of the Year; Six Named to All-Conference Squad

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The South Atlantic Conference announced the 2023 Volleyball All-Conference teams and major award winners today, November 14, with head coach Todd Hay being named Coach of the Year while six members of the Trojans volleyball squad were named to the All-Conference team.

Seniors Jaelyn Grimm (Cedar Park, Texas) and Jenna Long (Clearwater, Fla.) were both named to the First-Team while sophomore Brantley Chipley (Spartanburg, S.C.) and senior Sadie Kluner (Venice, Fla.) each earned Second-Team honors. Seniors Tabitha Wheeler (Greenville, S.C.) and Rylie Sargent (Greer, S.C.) earned their way onto the Third Team.

Todd Hay earns his third South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year honors after leading the Trojans to a 16-2 SAC record and a 24-4 overall record. The Trojans lead the SAC in kills (1429) and rank second in hitting percentage (.259), assists (1295), and points (1780.5). Under his guidance, Anderson is currently ranked No. 3 in the NCAA Southeast Region (as of Nov. 5) and earned the No. 2 seed in the SAC Volleyball Tournament.

Anderson continues their trek through the SAC Volleyball Tournament as they take on Tusculum in the semifinals on Wednesday, November 15 at the Rock Hill Sports & Events Center at 7:00 p.m.
