AU Plays Host To Mount Olive In First Round

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Second-seeded Anderson University will play host to No. 7 Mount Olive in the first round of the 2008 Conference Carolinas Tournament Tuesday at Smethers Field. The match will start at 7 p.m. During the regular season, Anderson beat Mount Olive, 4-2 on Sept. 27 at Anderson. All of the matches in the eight-team tournament will be played at the higher seeds. In the other first-round matches, top-seeded Lees-McRae will play No. 8 Coker, No. 3 Limestone will take on No. 6 Belmont Abbey, and No. 4 Pfeiffer will face No. 5 Queens University of Charlotte. The semifinal round will be played on Friday and the championship match will be played on Sunday.
