Anderson Blanks Southern Wesleyan

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson University scored one goal in each half to beat Southern Wesleyan 2-0 in a non-conference match Tuesday night at Smethers Field. Anderson, 5-3-2 overall, is unbeaten in its last five outings. Southern Wesleyan now stands at 4-4. Anderson's first goal came at 14:03 when Stephon Henry found Lasse Sohrweide near the top of the box and Sohrweide chipped the ball into the Warrior net. At 54:06, Anderson scored its second goal when Rayon Markland headed in a corner kick by Zach Denson. Anderson outshot Southern Wesleyan, 21-2.
