YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The Anderson University men's tennis team opened its fall slate with a 5-4 road win past Young Harris College, Sunday afternoon at the Young Harris Tennis Complex.

Anderson took an early 2-1 advantage with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, with the Trojans duo of Avery Owens and Lauren Trumbull defeating the Mountain Lions Katie Bryant and Charlotte Moreau, 8-2, at No. two, while AU's Camie Beaulieu-Brunet and Lindsay Gregory held off Lina Parrra Pava and Stormy Dvorak, 8-4, at No. three.

But Young Harris claimed four wins in singles action to clinch the victory. Beaulieu-Brunet held off Moreau, 6-3, 6-4, at No. two singles and Gregory defeated Bryant, 6-3, 7-5 for the Trojans.

The Trojans get back on the courts Friday, Sept. 23, at the ITA Individuals in Sumter, S.C.
