Owens, Anderson and Beaulieu-Brunet Earn All-Conference Honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. - On the eve of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament, Anderson University women's tennis players Avery Owens, Camie Beaulieu-Brunet and Shelby Anderson have earned Second-Team All-SAC accolades, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

The trio helped lead the Trojans to a share of the regular-season title with a sparkling 8-1 record, with Owens and Beaulieu-Brunet notching the honor for singles, while Beaulieu-Brunet teamed with Anderson to claim the recognition on the doubles' side.

Owens, a junior, posted a 9-8 overall record, while notching a 6-3 mark in league action, with Beaulieu-Brunet and Anderson notching six doubles' victories on the season.

Anderson opens play in Friday's semifinal round of the Food Lion SAC Tournament versus the winner of the No. 3 Tusculum/No. 6 LMU contest. First-serve is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Friday.
