MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Using two first-half scores, the Anderson women's soccer team battled Harding University to a 2-2 decision Sunday afternoon in the Bobcat Shootout hosted by Georgia College and State University at Bobcat Field.

Looking to get back in the win column following Friday night's setback, Anderson (3-1-1) got on the scoreboard first on sophomore Carrie Settle's fourth goal of the season off an assist from freshman Alexandra Induni's assist in the 17th minute of action.

The Trojans took a two-goal advantage at the 43:24 mark when freshman Krystal Goss one-touched a feed from Melissa Fishbein with a left-footed rip that found the back of the net. The score marked the Newry, S.C., native's third goal of the season, while the assist was Fishbein's first of her career as a Trojan.

Harding (1-2-1) cut the deficit to a single goal in the 65th minute when freshman forward Adriana Lucar found fellow forward Paola Eusse for her second goal on the season and the Lady Bisons offense took five shots, two on goal before they found the equalizer with 50 seconds remaining, when freshman midfielder Jenna Taylor found the back of the net for her first career goal on a corner kick by sophomore midfielder Lauren Scharf.

Each team had an opportunity to get the win in the first extra period, but both keepers made the save and Trojan goalkeeper Kaitlin Neipp came out with a clutch save, her 17th of the season, in the final minute of the second overtime.

Harding led shots, 27-20 and held a 14-11 edge in shots on goal, while registering 10 corners to four by AU.

Freshman Daniell Boltin took four shots on the afternoon, while Goss recorded three. HU's Adriana Lucar took six shots, including three on goal to lead the Lady Bisons.

Neipp had 12 saves for Anderson, with Harding goalkeeper Chelsea Hornbeck recording nine saves in the game.

"Kaitlyn (Neipp) was amazing and came up big a number of times," said Anderson head coach Jason Dowiak. "The first goal by Carrie (Settle) was from a great serve by Alex (Induni) and Krystal's goal was also great."
Goss and freshman defender Hayden Uldrick were named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the event.

The Trojans continue their six-match road swing with a contest at Lander on Tuesday in Greenwood. Kick-off versus the Bearcats is scheduled for 7 p.m.
