ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson women's soccer team has been rewarded for its undefeated start to the 2010 campaign with a No. 10 ranking in the Southeast Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
With their unblemished 2-0 record the Trojans are off to their hottest start since the 2002 season, when AU opened with three consecutive wins.
"The team has started the season with confidence," said Anderson head coach Jason Dowiak. "We have two solid wins and displayed our offensive threats. It's a good sign when you have seven different players scoring goals."
The Trojans are back on the pitch Wednesday when AU plays host
to King College, with kick-off scheduled for 2 p.m. at Trojan
Stadium.
