ROCK HILL, S.C. –Anderson University women's basketball player Shameka McNeill has earned The South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the thirteenth week.
Graduate student, McNeill, helped lead the Trojans to a 2-0 record this past weekend. She picked up 27 points, five steals, two three-pointers and two rebounds in their win over Lincoln Memorial while garnering 24 points, four three-pointers, four assists and four rebounds in a win over UVA Wise.
Overall, the Charlotte, N.C., native averaged 40.9 percent from the floor, 25.5 points per game, 3.5 steals per game and 3.0 rebounds per game. This is McNeill's third consecutive Player of the Week honor this season.
