ANDERSON, S.C. -- Sophomore Whitney Bishoff has been selected as the Conference Carolinas women's cross country Runner of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the conference office Wednesday. "Whitney ran an excellent race in Orlando against very strong competition," said Anderson head coach Randy Greer. "It may have been one of her best finishes of the year." The Winder, Ga. native claimed a fourth-place finish overall and finished second among all non-Division I competitors last Saturday at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic. Bishoff recorded her second-best time of the season en route to crossing the finish line less than 39 seconds behind the overall winner and a comfortable 15 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. The Trojans are back in action at the Conference Carolinas championships on Oct. 23.
