Bishoff Earns Second Straight Weekly Honor

ANDERSON, S.C. -- For the second consecutive week, Anderson sophomore Whitney Bishoff has been selected as the Conference Carolinas' women's cross country Runner of the Week, as announced by the conference office Wednesday. "Whitney definitely ran her best race of the year and it came against very strong competition," said Anderson head coach Randy Greer. "She looked strong at the end and finished very well." Bishoff' third stellar performance in as many outings helped propel the Trojans to their second straight first-place finish. She claimed a first-place finish in the college division of the Winthrop Asics Fall Classic Saturday morning in a time of 18:40.98 at the event. Bishoff finished an impressive fourth overall, outdistancing runners from the regionally-ranked University of South Carolina squad and several other D-I schools in the process. For the third straight week, Bishoff paced four AU runners that swept the top four spots in the college division.
