ANDERSON, S.C. -- After two strong outings in as many meets, including an impressive win at the Wingate Invitational, the Anderson womens cross country team is ranked seventh in the USTFCCA's Southeast Region this week. "It's nice to get recognition for all the hard work," Anderson cross country coach Randy Greer said. "We have improvements to make, but we've enjoyed a good start to our season. We certainly want to move higher in the polls." Anderson was joined by fellow league members Lees-McRae (1st), Queens (4th) and Converse (9th) in the region. The Trojans are back on the course at the Winthrop Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19.
