THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Diana Willard of Anderson University has been selected as the NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) women's cross country Runner of the Week. Willard, a sophomore from Pelion, S.C., finished third in the collegiate division of the South Collegiate Challenge in Marietta, Ga. Willard recorded a time of 20:02 in the 5K event at Chattahoochee Tech. Led by Willard, Anderson finished 3-4-5 and placed five runners in the top 20 for a total of 34 points, 27 points ahead of second-place Reinhardt College. Anderson won the overall 15-team event with 44 points.
