Quillen Sets Anderson School Record in 3000m SC at Georgia Tech Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Anderson University men's track and field team completed a very successful day one on Friday (Apr. 22) at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

Philip Quillen won the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 9:04.69 to set a new Anderson school record. In the 5000m, Spain Vaughan placed 17th at a pace of 14:42.34). Thomas Sutcliffe (15:03.82), Jonathan Roberts (15:13.46), and Ty Nelson (15:31.81) all ran in the event for the Trojans.

On day two, Ben Molitor completed the 400m at a pace of 50.08 to finish 28th.
