SUN CITY, S.C. - The Anderson University women's tennis team snapped a brief two-match skid by blanking Belmont Abbey, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Anderson moved to 10-5 on the season, while Belmont Abbey slipped to 1-15.
The Trojans dropped just one set on the afternoon, with the duo of Karen Ching and Avery Owens defeating the Crusaders' Kirstie Jenkins and Katharine Miller, 8-1, at the No. 1 doubles' flight to stretch their win streak to three matches and are 9-1 in their last 10 contests.
AU's Camie Beaulieu-Brunet won her second straight singles' match by downing Miller in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 2 singles and improved to 7-2 in her last nine outings. Lindsay Gregory also notched her second consecutive singles' victory by topping Brooke Ingram, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 3 singles, while also improving to 7-2 in her last nine matches.
