ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson women's tennis team opened South Atlantic Conference action with a convincing 8-1 win past Lenoir-Rhyne Saturday afternoon at the Max Grubbs Memorial Courts.
Anderson improved to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the league opener for each team, while Lenoir-Rhyne slipped to 0-1.
Anderson opens a four-match road swing by traveling to Tusculum on Friday. First-serve versus the Lady Pioneers is scheduled for 1 p.m.
