AU Women Move Up One Spot In Poll

NEW ORLEANS -- The Anderson University women's cross country team moved up one spot in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Southeast poll this week. Both the AU women and men were idle last Saturday. Both teams will participate in the Great American Cross Country Festival this Saturday at Hoover, Ala. The Anderson women moved from fifth to fourth in the poll. Lees-McRae leads the women's poll followed by Wingate, Lenior-Rhyne, and Anderson. Rounding out the poll are Carson-Newman, St. Andrews Presbyterian, Converse, Mars Hill, Pfeiffer, and Limestone. In the men's poll, Anderson held on to the No. 2 spot. Mars Hill is still No. 1 followed by Anderson, Queens University of Charlotte, Lenior-Rhyne, and Lees-McRae. Rounding out the top 10 in the men's poll are St. Andrews Presbyterian, Wingate, Pfeiffer, St. Augustine's, and Coker.
