Both AU Cross Country Teams Hold Spots In Poll

NEW ORLEANS -- Both Anderson University cross country teams held their positions in the USTFCCA Cross Country regional rankings released Tuesday afternoon. Both Anderson teams were victorious at the Limestone Invitational, but the Lady Trojans remained No. 3 and the AU men stayed at No. 2. Lees-McRae remains No. 1 in the women's poll. Wingate is No. 2 followed by Anderson, Mars Hill, Lenior-Rhyne, St. Andrews Presbyterian, Carson-Newman, Pfeiffer, Limestone, and Tusculum. The Lady Trojans started the season No. 1 in the poll and have been ranked No. 3 in the three regular-season polls. Mars Hill is No. 1 in the men's poll. Anderson is No. 2, Lenior-Rhyne is No. 3, Queens University of Charlotte is No. 4, and St. Andrews Presbyterian is No. 5. Rounding out the men's poll are Lees-McRae, Wingate, St. Augustine's, Pfeiffer, and Coker. The Anderson men were No. 3 in the preseason poll and have been ranked No. 2 in the three regular-season polls.
