GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Anderson College women's cross country team finished 19th and the AC men came in 20th at the Furman Invitational Saturday at the Furman University Golf Course. The Lady Trojans were led by freshman Jennifer Hitt, who finished in 62nd place in the field of 233 runners with a time of 20:18. Appalachian State won the 27-team 5K women's meet followed by Davidson in second place and host Furman in third. The Anderson men's team was led by freshman Ethan Schaffner, who finished 41st in the field of 244 runners with a time of 27:10. Eastern Kentucky won the 27-team 8K men's meet followed Appalachian State in second place and host Furman in third. Season Results
