SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Both Anderson College cross country teams recorded top 10 finishes in the Spartanburg Eye Opener Meet Saturday morning. The Lady Trojans finished sixth a the 20-team field, while the men finished eighth in a 17-team field. Jennifer Hitt, a freshman from Fountain Inn, S.C., was the leading runner for the Lady Trojans. She finished 16th with a time of 20:57. Ashley Smoak followed Hitt in 20th place with a time of 21:11. The leading runner for the AC men was Ethan Schaffner, a freshman from Baltimore, Ohio, who finished 11th with a time of 27:56. Patrick Burt was AC's second finisher in 47th place with a time of 30:20. Season Results
